Setup Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)

Learn how to setup MFA for your thefund.com user account below.

  • Email - Verify with a link or code sent to your email
  • Google Authenticator - Enter a temporary code generated from the Google Authenticator app
  • Okta Verify - Okta Verify is an authenticator app, installed on your computer or phone, used to prove your identity
  • SMS via Phone - Verify with a code sent to your phone

Email

  1. Click on the "Set up" button under the email heading

  2. A confirmation email will be sent to your logged in email address. Click the "Verify Email Address"  button in the email. (Alternatively, you can manually enter the verification code from the email.)

  3. The verification is accepted, and the following dialog appears. MFA set up via email has been completed. (Optionally, you can setup more than one way to MFA when logging in to thefund.com. It is not required to setup more than one.) Click the "Continue" button to login to thefund.com.

Google Authenticator

  1. Click the "Set up" button under the Google Authenticator heading

  2. Install / Launch the Google Authenticator app on your phone. Within the Google Authenticator app, tap the "+" icon, then select "Scan a QR code" to walk through the activation on the phone.
  3. Click the "Next" button and enter the code from Google Authenticator

  4. The verification is accepted, and the following dialog appears. MFA set up via Google Authenticator has been completed. (Optionally, you can setup more than one way to MFA when logging in to thefund.com. It is not required to setup more than one.) Click the "Continue" button to login to thefund.com.

Okta Verify

  1. Click the "Set up" button under the Okta Verify heading

  2. Install / Launch the Okta Verify app on your phone. Within the Okta Verify app, follow the instructions to add your account.  When prompted, tap "Scan a QR Code", then scan the QR code.

  3. The verification is accepted, and the following dialog appears. MFA set up via Okta Verify has been completed. (Optionally, you can setup more than one way to MFA when logging in to thefund.com. It is not required to setup more than one.) Click the "Continue" button to login to thefund.com.

Phone

  1. Click on the "Set up" button under the phone heading

  2. Enter your mobile phone number and click "Receive a code via SMS" button

  3. The phone number entered will receive a text message, enter the code and click the "Verify" button.

  4. The verification is accepted, and the following dialog appears. MFA set up via Phone has been completed. (Optionally, you can setup more than one way to MFA when logging in to thefund.com. It is not required to setup more than one.) Click the "Continue" button to login to thefund.com.
